Position Descriptions

President: Responsible for directing and managing all activities of the Club. This will include working with other members of the executive team to achieve the club’s objectives for the coming fiscal year. The President will lead coordination of the club’s activities for the upcoming year (with the support of other officers and volunteers). The President will also lead the group’s main planned events, unless a Director for a specific event is appointed by the officers

Treasurer & Director of Fundraising: Responsible for managing all funds of the Club (cutting checks, depositing payments, keeping the books, filing tax returns, etc.); also responsible for coordinating fundraising activities

Director for Admissions Office & Education Council Relations: Responsible for coordinating with the admissions office and educational council to provide support to their activities in the region

President-Elect:
 In order to ensure continuity of leadership, the president-elect is a general voting member of the executive committee until the start of the following year, at which point she/he will become President. A new President-Elect will be elected in the next election cycle.
