A new initiative that MIT Enterprise Forum – Pan Arab region are running jointly with

Technology Review is TR35 Pan Arab. The objective of this program is to select innovators from the Arab region (under the age of 35) that would participate in the TR35 Global Competition as well. The winners will be offered the opportunity to partake in the MIT Emerging Technologies (EmTech MIT<http://www.technologyreview.com/emtech/12/> ) conference in October 2012. On the 15th of February 2012, The Board of MIT Arab Alumni/ae Association (MITAAA) approved the set-up of an Endowment Education Fund for Arab MIT students.
Following this decision, the Fund was initiated with a donation from MITAAA. MITAAA represented by Talal Kheir attended The Competitiveness Conference hosted by SAGIA (Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority – www.sagia.gov.sa/ ) in Riyadh January 22-24, 2012. The invitation was extended by YAAA (Yale Arab Alumni Association).
